About Us

Our Story

Karlesha Springs began her career as a 4th-grade teacher in the very neighborhood she grew up in. She saw early on that many students weren’t being supported in ways that honored their potential. One memorable moment was tutoring a 5th grader reading at a 3rd-grade level—things shifted then. After years leading transformation plans in schools and working with ESL learners and vulnerable student populations, Karlesha founded Team Springs to extend that impact beyond school walls.

Team Springs began with humble beginnings—tutoring through community centers, word-of-mouth referrals, and a belief that connection is just as important as curriculum. Over time, we expanded our offerings, moved into virtual spaces, and built relationships with families who trust us to guide their students toward success.

I recommend this company to ANYONE with students in school! I worked with Mrs. Springs and her team when my son was in the summer before starting kindergarten. I had no idea how behind he was until I met with her. It wasn’t that he couldn’t retain the information, it’s that he had not been properly taught. She gave me instructional tools and techniques that I could use at home to better prepare him for kindergarten. I was beyond impressed how 15-20 mins a day could be so life-changing for him. My son went from identifying 5-7 letters of the alphabet to being able to identify all letters, capital and lowercase, within 6 weeks.
